Kid's Day on the Big Hole River

On a Saturday in May, we host an entire day of educational and fun events for 75 area youth ages 7-13. Kid's Day is hosted at Everist Ranch in Melrose, Montana. We offer fly-tying and casting lessons, trout and aquatic insect identification training, boating safety training, and more. 2020 Event Date TBA.

Kid's Day 2020 Update

After much deliberation, we have decided that out of an abundance of caution for the widespread impact of covid-19, we will be cancelling Kid's Day for 2020. Please understand that this was not an easy decision, but, we believe the most prudent course of action for the safety of staff, attendees, and our wonderful volunteers.

We will be back in 2021!
